GO!
A stitch in time..
Hi again, guys. I’m sorry the first mail this month is coming quite late. I’ve had a really busy month with work and other personal things going on. Consistency is quite hard, I must say. (maybe I’m going to write on consistency soon.) Anyway, it’s been quite hard keeping up. I almost gave up writing. But I’m here now. Let’s go on a short journey.
In January, I was having a chat with one of my friends (shout out to Tijesunimi, my brother). He was telling me about how his father asked him to do a certain task and he had just 3 days to do it. He delayed a bit and began to do it on the second day. The volume of work remained the same but the time was less. So now, he had more work to do as compared to the work he would have done if he started on the first day. And immediately, something struck within me.
We all have assignments and tasks that God has given us. There are things that God tells us to do and he gives us timeframes for those assignments. Some of us have heard God’s voice and we know what he has asked us to do and when he asked us to do it. But due to maybe fear, doubt or something else, we are delaying on that task. And one thing about God is that the moment he speaks and he delay, he doesn't say anything concerning that task anymore. He goes silent. And your time begins to run.
My beloved ministry gift, Apostle Emmanuel Iren always says “In the Kingdom, the capital is GO!”. The moment you hear God saying go, you go! It’s normal to be scared but it’s not enough to delay your assignment. Once God says go, trust him and go, he will give you all that you need to accomplish that assignment. Take my word for it. God doesn’t reveal the whole journey to us. He shows us bit by bit. Season by season. Just continue to go to Him for guidance and direction. He will give you all that you need to accomplish your assignment. Don’t allow the devil use fear and other things to slow you down. Pick yourself up and move in that direction. The more time we waste waiting, the more we are compounding work for ourselves. You will still do the work, but you’ll be under pressure that could’ve been avoided.
And peradventure you feel you have already wasted too much time and there’s nothing for you again. Don’t worry, God is merciful. He can give you that time back. Joel 2:25 says “So I will restore to you the years that the swarming locust has eaten,”. He will restore that lost time. He will show you mercy if you cry out to him in repentance. As long as you can run back to him and ask in sincerity, he will restore you. But this should not be an excuse to delay. You might not be lucky every time. The words of the Lord never fall to the ground. You assignments could be given to someone else. So be careful.
So my friends, we all know that popular saying “a stitch in time, saves nine”. Child of God, you know you have heard the command of God. I am here to tell you that it is time to GO. You have delayed enough. Just GO. God knows you are afraid. But he is telling you to GO. Remember, “In the Kingdom, the capital is GO!” You are the one singing “Jesus, if you call my name, I will answer a billion times”. He has called your name, answer once first. That’s my message for you.
Until next time. I really look to send another mail this month. God help me. Cheers.

Thank you so much.❤️
