It's my birth month too, btw..
That feeling you get
When a journey seems to near its end.
For some, it’s a huge sigh of relief.
For others, what feels like the end marks a beginning.
You never know what to expect when you begin a journey.
We often play the optimist, hoping for the best.
Sometimes things go as planned.
Other times, they don’t.
Either way, at least you’re alive.
It’s been quite the ride so far.
Here we are — the first day of the twelfth month.
I know this signals the closing chapter of a book…
But what if this is only the prequel to a better book?

Finally, you arrive.
2025 has been one long ride,
But here you are.
I already hear the bells jingling,
The twinkling lights in the dark nights.
People are bringing out the trees and decorations —
The sign of the world’s most anticipated holiday.
This is December.
The last lap of the year.
The beginning of newer things to come.
The sign of the end,
And a sneak peek into a beginning.
