Yakubu Manage
You will feel it like you want to die, but you will not die.
The audio attached below will aid your reading experience. Have fun
You have been on this race for as long as you can remember. You have been pushing your limits and overcoming the hurdles as they came your way. You have found ways to get yourself out of messy situations.
You have held on to hope in every way you can. You have competed with every breath in you. You have come this far. Your breath now seems to be heaving heavy. But the race doesn’t seem to be over yet.
You seem to be slowing down. You’re not running as fast as you used to run. Your strength is not as much as it used to be anymore. Now it seems like you need to use extra effort to do everything. Now, you seem to barely crawl through the same places where you used to soar.
I have been sent to you.
Yakubu, manage!!
You will feel it like you want to die but you will not die, is that clear?
You will feel like you want to give up, but you cannot give up, do you hear me?
You will feel like all hope is lost but that’s not the truth.
The scripture says that “those who wait on the Lord, shall renew their strength”. I know you feel tired, but you have to manage, child of God. Manage my waiting on the Lord. That is where weak men gain strength. Wait on the Lord and you shall run and not grow weary.
The race was never promised to be easy. The battle was never going to be a breeze. We were promised trials and tribulations. We were told before hand that we would get weak.
“I have told you these things, so that in me you may have peace. In this world you will have trouble. But take heart! I have overcome the world.” John 16:33
But you know the encouraging part? Psalms 46:1 tells you:
God is our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble.
So, Child of God, I know you are tired. I know it seems like you cannot go any further. Trust me. I feel the same way. But you cannot give up just yet. God didn’t bring you this far to watch you fade away. You didn’t cover this much ground just to give up.
And guess what. The Father is happy when you show up weak and tired. He doesn’t want you to perform. He doesn’t want you to feign strength.
He wants you to come as you are. Tired. Discouraged. Worn out. Weak.
He wants you to come to him and receive strength because according to 2 Corinthians 12:9, His strength is made perfect in your weakness.
So my friend, I leave you with this:
“Dear brothers and sisters, when troubles of any kind come your way, consider it an opportunity for great joy. For you know that when your faith is tested, your endurance has a chance to grow. So let it grow, for when your endurance is fully developed, you will be perfect and complete, needing nothing.” James 1:2-4
Yakubu, manage.
Because He that will pick you up if you fall and hold you while you keep running is your Heavenly Father.
Your brother,
Jedidiah❤️

Thank you.
